My first week at the OEDK

The first week has been an awesome week, charming people all over.

The first day of the first week involved orientation which comprised of self introductions and safety measures to be followed whenever I am in the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen.

In the afternoon,we were divided into groups of twos.I and my colleague Elizabeth did the task of disassembling a printer. The purpose of performing this task was for us to see how electronic equipments are assembled from the various components during manufacturing.

I did learn 2D drawing using adobe illustrator and laser cutting,it was really fun,a laser cutter is used to cut and/or engrave a non metal sheet,eg plywood

I also learnt Plasma cutting the following day, which is used to cut metals.bellow is the product that was produced.
