THIS IS REAL EXPERIENCE IN THE OEDK

A week of mixed reactions!

Many achievements have been made in the week.

  • Learnt 20 ways not to cut stencil
  • Discovered 4 materials for making stencil (Kapton tap, wood, acrylic and laminated pages)
  • Learnt 5 ways not to handle stencil
  • Discovered the greatest secrete behind believing in self, the “I can spirit” and I really did!
  • Confirmed the beauty of team work, “together we can, yes we can!”
  • Confirmed the power sharing tasks and setting timelines

Working with electronic components(chips) requires a great deal of concentration, perseverance and patience. Pressure is greatest when the breakthrough to your design problems is nearest, this is one thing i confirmed this week. We worked really hard this week, instilled by time constraint ” we don’t have enough time guys, make sure you have a working prototype this week”, the professors encouraged my Team

The circuit below is a product of the above experiences

Our working prototype

We also worked on digital solution to our problem. Carlos was tasked to research on the possibilities of the digital circuit. We now have a working code which will improved and tested next week.

We expect to work more on testing the device next.
